In this paper we revisit an open problem posed by Aldous on the max-entropy win-probability martingale: given two players of equal strength, such that the win-probability is a martingale diffusion, which of these processes has maximum entropy and hence gives the most excitement for the spectators?

Which one of the basic functions (linear, quadratic, rational, or exponential) is related to an arithmetic series? What is the output of the function f(p) = 3p - 2 when the input is 2? Describe four ways of representing a function. Provide examples. ...
Logarithmic functions:Natural logarithm (ln) and common logarithm (log) are useful for working with exponential relationships and solving equations. Exponential functions:The exponential function (e^x) and its inverse, the natural logarithm, are crucial for growth and decay problems. Fractional calculati...

Converts larger, complex problems into a series of smaller problems. Exponential by squaring (EbS) Also known as binary exponentiation, EbS speeds up the calculation of large integers, polynomials, square matrices, and other complex problems. ...
Linear Advantages: Very fast. Disadvantages: Least flexible model. Thin Plate Spline Advantages: Very fast. Works best when strong trends are present. Disadvantages: Less flexible, particularly when no trend is present. Exponential Advantages: Offers a flexible transformation. Faster than K-...
The exponential map then provides a bridge connecting the microscopic and macroscopic scales. We return now to approximate groups. The macroscopic structure of these objects is well described by the Hrushovski Lie model theorem from the previous set of notes, which informally asserts that the ...
