I tried 1.40.1 snap package with Ubuntu 19.10 on parallels vm, but I couldn't see any crash even after using the editor for a while. I will get the debug symbols as next step to investigate further. ghost commented Nov 23, 2019 Can confirm that it neither crashes on fresh Ubuntu 19....
