你装的是什么？如果是ESXi的话，需要登录console控制台，先配置ip地址。client连接的是配置好的ip地址，方便管理最好用桥接模式（虚拟机模拟的话）client不需要注册码什么的，esxi可以免费试用60天，如果是官网上申请评估的话会有个临时试用key提供的。这个需要client登录后加入，好像不加也没什么影响。

升级到新debian lenny后,相关的X11的库也升级了,随之而来的就是原来能正常运行的VMware Server Console无法启动,提示: xcb_lock.c:77: _XGetXCBBuffer: Assertion `((int) ((xcb_req) - (dpy->request)) >= 0)' failed. 上网一查,这个Console在各个发行版上都有类似问题,看来是X11的问题了。
