地理位置好,SeattleIT职位很多,学校名气好,学费也合理。但无奈i-school的课程设置不理想,还有PCE等诸多限制。相比去年,今年招的人明显selective了很多,大陆本+美本的中国人只有80+ AD,而且一些被CMU MISM录取的人被Rej了。如果能够克服课程设置的问题+自学coding的话,UW是个很好的选择,还是因人而异吧。

ischool感觉在课程上是比较灵活的,学长学姐多次提到自己的心路历程是“我本来觉得我需要ABC,学完了之后逐渐发现我需要XYZ,于是我选了xxx”。对比bschool,课程是完全设置好一个framework不允许调整内容和顺序(只在最后一个quarter有一两门选修课的自由),ischool还是会有更多的容错空间吧。
