TNF-alpha在体内、体外均能杀死某些肿瘤细胞,或抑制增殖作用。用放线菌素D、丝裂霉素C、放线菌酮等处理肿瘤细胞(如小鼠成纤维细胞株L929)可明显增加TNF-alpha杀伤肿瘤细胞活性,提高中性粒细胞的吞噬能力,增加过氧化物阴离子产生,增强ADCC功能,刺激细胞脱颗粒和分泌髓过氧化物酶。
