本片是根据迪士尼热播的同名剧集改编，而且也基本上用的是原班人马，影片的故事情节也只能是以家庭式为主，并没有什么太过大气的场面，也没有太过恢弘的魔法场面，3D效果也只能算是过得去，不过幸好还有温馨的家庭和逗趣的小幽默在其中，所以显得并不是太过于小儿科。
