If your interest is deep sky then a 90 mm scope in a Bortle 7 environment will be disappointing. It’s not the quality of the scope in question at $140 which is the issue. Clearly the sv48p 90mm is not a $1,000 scope, but for DSO it doesn’t have to be. Aperture does matter ...
