Sin is a matter of life and death for the Christian. Therefore it is vital for us to understand what sin is, and also what sin is NOT. Without the true definition of sin, the Christian will be constantly "tossed to and fro" by the deceits of man and the accusations of the Devil....
All of this is exactly the same with the death of Jesus. Jesus did not die to rescue us from the wrath of God. Nor did Jesus die to secure for us the forgiveness of sins. God has always freely forgiven people of their sins.
