Solved: Hi guys, I am brand new to using Ruckus devices and I have an R650 that I need to change from Unleashed to network. Is there a firmware
The Ruckus R650 represents an evolution in Access Point (AP) technology - it's not just a Wi-Fi AP, it's a Wireless technology hub. It's a 6 stream AP (4x4:4 in 5GHz, 2x2:2 in 2.4GHz) that comes with Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) capable of delivering 2400Mbps in 5GHz and 574Mbps ...
I have an R650 which lost power during a firmware upgrade and needs reviving. But Ruckus seem to have cheaped-out, and are now shipping APs without serial header pins soldered into the holes. Does anyone have a prefered way of semi-safely doing a temporary connection to the pin hole...

And I confirmed that the Unleashed 200.13 Dedicated Master mode works fine on an R650. I expect it will also work on an R550 (since these all share the same firmware). I'm sure performance won't be up to R750/R850 standard, but I'm not running short on memory or storage space...
ms264556 said: Definitely the R610/R710 is a much better choice for home. For WiFi 5 definitively. Nowadays, R650/750 also is an option for home if WiFi 6 is what you want. I got a R750 for a reasonable price and sold my R710. Reactions: ms264556 Prev...
