Wrapping up 2024's National Quilting Month ~ I'm partying with Chuck the Duck... I received this sweet little quilter's tool kit from Missouri Star Quilt Co. It's got floss cards, scissors, a seam ripper, a thimble, and a pretty fancy little portable rotary blade!
I decided to try a flange binding and used a tutorial by Jenny at Missouri Star. My quarter inch sewing was a little "fat", so the flange is not quite as wide as I prefer, but I do like the result. My first and favorite block, before and after quilting. Closeups of Great Barrier...
