那什么方向热门呢?empirical,和data/machine learning直接相关的方向。总的来说,如果你做的是learning,或者是econometrics那种的empirical,都是不错的。今年有大约一半以上的学校,说明了只考虑招data相关方向的人,主要考虑是教课,很多学校的新的faculty position都明确是要教business analytics/AI方向的课程的人。
