I have both. Image quality IMO is the same for all practical purposes. I would not choose one or the other because of image quality/sharpness. I got the 24-70 F4 with my Z6 when I jumped into mirrorless a few years ago. It's dirt cheap when bundled and the 24-120 wasn't availab...
