I have a polynomial f = DocPolynom(v) where v is a vector of coefficients. I really would like to be able to convert f to the polynomial corresponding to f(x-a), where a is a pre-determined constant. Does anyone know if/how I can do this?
This implies that the total degree of a polynomial determines its growth on the set, at least modulo bounded polynomials. We, however, also provide several counterexamples, where there is no connection between total degree and growth. In the plane, we give a complete answer to our questions ...
Solved: How do i calculate the polynomial for CRC? i am looking to use CRC feature, i have existing code and polynomial expression but dont know how
I don’t think it is possible to keep polynomial factors together for the power 1 terms. This has something to do with the way the + (@sum) and * (@prod) operators operate. For example, have a look at the outputs of the following commands. ...
How Do You Factor the Greatest Common Factor out of a Polynomial? Factoring out the greatest common factor of a polynomial can be an important part of simplifying an expression. In this tutorial, you get step-by-step instructions on how to identify and factor out ...

meaning the highest exponent on the variable is a three or greater, factoring can become more tedious. In some instances, grouping methods shorten the arithmetic, but in other cases, you may need to know more about the function, or polynomial, before you can proceed further with the analysis...

Polynomials are a mathematical expression of sums of variables, numbers, and exponents in an ordered form. We can classify them according to the greatest exponent. If it is a three, the polynomial is of the third degree. Also, by the number of terms, one is a monomial, two is a ...
If a polynomial has integer coefficients, every zero, or solution, has the form P/Q, where P = a factor of the constant term, and Q = a factor of the leading coefficient. Basically, if you list all the factors of the constant, and divide them by the factors of the leading coefficien...
