If U upgrade RAID firmware, u'll get compatibility with bigger drives, but and maybe 2TB via 1 array. I have NAS1500s witch was limited to 1 TB and after upgrades now its 4 TB in two RAID0 and 4 1TB Seagates. Perfect archive storage place :D ...
