(fans on GPU are spinning) - but it takes very long time to get there so the BIOS might have troubles detecting it (I have updated BIOS to its newest version). Windows boots up properly the GPU is semi-detected... in the Device Manager it says that Drivers arent working right (error...
maybe the GPU is drawing that much power because the fans are constantly spinning? Upvote 0 Downvote Satan-IR Splendid Ambassador Apr 18, 2014 2,552 459 22,390 Mar 13, 2022 #24 Don't think the card would need to draw almost18W to make fans turn, even at full s...
I made sure nothing runs in the background so I have no reason to believe the GPU actually heats up and needs the fans spinning at that high of a speed, not to mention my fan speed is set to gradually increase with the temperature and not a sudden 0 to 100 and back to 0......

Just watch out though if the sensor data isn't showing then it won't manage the fan speed and if you put it under load it will crash because it's overheated due to the fan not spinning up to keep it cool. They know about it and hopefully will fix it up soon in a new driver ...

thermal pads on the VRAM, causing temperatures to spike. This is usually the first indication of a problem. As the user says, “I noticed that my max GPU temps were rising a bit. When I checked if the fans were spinning correctly, I saw ants marching on my GPU and on top of my ...
if your idle temps are not dangerous then there is no issue with the fans shutting down. if they were @ any type of high or dangerous levels then the card wouldn't be ramping RPMs down in the first place. if you're worried about any affect from the fans spinning up & down regularly...
