"My GPU fan is not spinning, even though the GPU temperature has reached 90 degrees Celsius. Previously, the GPU fan used to spin when the temperature was high. Some time ago, I tried to fix this issue by giving the GPU fan a gentle touch, and initially, the fan started spinning again...
I made sure nothing runs in the background so I have no reason to believe the GPU actually heats up and needs the fans spinning at that high of a speed, not to mention my fan speed is set to gradually increase with the temperature and not a sudden 0 to 100 and back to 0......
if you're worried about any affect from the fans spinning up & down regularly turn the option off. if you notice them shutting down while temperatures are higher than you'd prefer, also turn the option off and set a better manual fan speed curve for the card. Last edited: Sep 24, 202...
Also, if I set the External Fan to manual fan speed (not user defined fan curve), the works fine, upon Windows start-up the fan is spinning constantly at that manual set speed. Seems like there is some bug in the Tweak II software where a user defined fan curve for External Fan is...

If you're not using those things you're doing it right. It's not like people sit all day looking at iStat data. It's there if you need to check something, such as hearing your fans and wondering how fast they're spinning, or what components are heating up. C chabig macrumors ...
All fans are spinning and functioning, everything is detected, and the GPU led lights are on and the fan is running. Despite this, I'm not getting an image on my ASUS monitor. I installed the drivers for the motherboard and GPU and nothing changed. When I use the BIOS to examine ...
