my guess is that there are 2 types of dragons in elden ring, or at least thats how it seems, "Regular" dragons the ones with elemental breath attacks like agheel, smarag, and such who don't use those lightning attacks are weak to lightning, and "Ancient" dragons fortissax, placidussax...
