Ardnamurchan是盖尔语,“Headland of the great sea”之意,临海与Mull岛相望,成为苏格兰本岛最西侧的蒸馏厂。对于建厂,Adelphi一开始便确立目标,除了产制品质良好的威士忌之外,还负有发展旅游产业、振兴当地经济的使命,所以蒸馏厂由British studio Organic Architects设计,与环境取得协调,将绿色环保意识纳入设备与制作。
