Sice MediaTek confirmed they downright cheat in benchmarks on firmware level, I would care for benchmarks even less that I previously did ;) It does look like a decent SOC, but I will certainly wait for real tests of video rendering, games etc. ...
PS. Qualcomm will probably announce the Snapdragon 898 onNovember 30, so MediaTek has only a couple of weeks to unveil the Dimensity 2000. Unless it means "first to market", but that doesn't leave much time either.
