機場管理局將此類路線定名為「通宵巴士快線 Overnight Express Bus」,更為貨運區及航膳區之員工提供免費機場員工接駁巴士前往國泰城及一號客運大樓以轉乘此類路線。由於本路線不經國泰城,乘客必須在一號客運大樓下車,然後步行前往對面地面運輸中心巴士總站乘搭本路線。
