As far as I know, Windows enterprise edition should be activated using volume license, which is MAK or KMS. Based on my experience, this error could be related to KMS. Are you using KMS? Please run lmgr.vbs /dlv command to display the license information to check it and let us know....

Im getting the error 80072EE5. Not sure why. I have an sbs 2003 server that is the main server, it has wsus on it. But it's not setup to distribute updates yet. I've searched this error but nothing comes up that is similar to this problem. Any help would greatly be appreciated....
